Council

Council:

Council members consist of 6 Councillors representing the 6 divisions and a Reeve and are elected to office by general vote for a term of four years.  In RM's, elections are held every two(2) years. The next election for odd-numbered divisions and Reeve will be held in the fall of 2028, even-numbered divisions will be in the fall of 2026. By-elections are called when a position on Council becomes vacant during a term. Find more information at municipal election.   The "Division" you may be eligible to vote in  is indicated on your most recent Assessment Notice or Tax Notice. If you have questions, please contact the RM Office. All eligible voters can cast a vote for Reeve.

Council meetings are held in public every second Thursday starting at 9am at the RM office located at 208 - 1st Ave N. in Naicam, SK.

Council members are also appointed to Committees of Council and may also be appointed by Council to sit on other boards or committees outside of Council as a Council representative.
